Public Health Educator "Dre" visits our Lunch Clubs Monthly for discussions on a variety of health topics. Have a health question? Let us know and Dre will include it in his monthly presentations. If you are wondering, so is someone else.
Combatting Isolation
We know the damaging effects that isolation and loneliness can have on people. If you or another older adult you know is struggling in this area, there may be things our office can do to help!
- Friendly Callers - we can link people with a program that will can have someone call you weekly (or as often as you would like) to check in with you and see how things are going.
- Animatronic Pets - we have a small supply of robotic cats and dogs that are lifelike and interactive. Pets that respond to you that you don't have to feed or clean up after!
- Transportation to Lunch - don't feel trapped in your house. We can come get you and bring you to our Lunch Club 60 sites in Clyde or Palmyra. Call one of those centers to sign up and for current days.
- Outreach - if you see something, say something. If you are worried about an older adult in your life, let us know and we can reach out to them to see if we can help.
Home Delivered Meals (Meals On Wheels)

An in-home assessment is completed for all referrals. There is no cost for meals but voluntary contributions are appreciated. No one will be denied a meal for inability or unwillingness to contribute. For more information or to schedule an assessment, feel free to call our office at 315-946-5624.
